When the good weather returns, the desire to go out again, to do activities with the children and to look for excuses, every weekend, to do things as a family. In Tarragona it seems that they are clear that parents are looking for things like that for our children, because it arrives in a few days III Minipop Festival, a festival that has music as a thread but proposes many more things for children and parents.
It is celebrated the first weekend of June and this year, in addition to covering Saturday and Sunday it grows in time starting on Friday. That is, this year's Minipop starts on May 31 and ends on June 2, loaded with music, workshops and activities which will take place in the Passeig de Les Palmeres and in the Serrallo neighborhood.
The musicians and groups that will play this year are Inspira, Sènior and Cor Brutal, Joana Serrat, La Brigada, Lecirke, Superpanda's dj's and Dj Lupe.
This year there will be more workshops than last year and they are Art oriented and open to children's creativity. They are workshops created and energized by local artists that aim to bring contemporary art to the little ones.
For those parents who want to play a little more traditional games, those of our childhood, you can find a space dedicated to it with which to play with the children explaining that "look, I played this when I was little."
As a novelty, this year there will be a theatrical performance and one film session, for those who want some time to participate less and see more. There will also be the possibility of, from the port, make boat trips to take a "ride" by the sea.
After the success of the first year, in which more than 1,500 people attended, and the second year, in which the number increased to 2,300 attendees, this figure is expected to increase even more. The current price of tickets is € 7 (until yesterday it was € 5) and at the window will be € 8.
