A good idea: loan of baby carriages at airports

We like this novelty that makes traveling with children easier, such an attention that families can help and feel (almost) as if they were first-class travelers. A baby carriage loan service has been launched at Barajas airport.

I do not know if this service will exist in many other airports, I have certainly traveled a few with the baby in my arms (because they force you to check the cart at the entrance) and we would have liked a stroller.

Luckily, also more and more airports and more companies allow you to take the stroller to the plane, which makes the transfer and waiting at the airport more comfortable. And by the way we make sure that the cart will travel on the same plane as us.

And if the wait is going to be long, let's not forget the baby carrier or make sure we find a place to sit as comfortably with the baby to rest.

In any case, if necessary, the Madrid Barajas airport has opened this new passenger service that offers free baby strollers in the boarding areas of terminals 1, 2 and 4.

So in these terminals we will find dispensers of these strollers with up to 50 chairs each, intended for babies from six months of age up to a maximum weight of 15 kilos.

Another facility is that when passengers have used the cart they will not have to deposit it at a specific point in the facilities, but they can leave it anywhere in the boarding area for airport personnel to pick it up.

Definitely, the baby carriage loan service at the airport Barajas seems great to me, and the best thing is that it is free and not paid like other supposed “facilities” for families at the airports.
