The cupcakes They are usually baked at about 160ºC for about 20-24 minutes (depending on the recipe and the oven) but calculate that they will be about 20-30 minutes less baking than a large cake.

Once we have made the cupcakes, the most important and what characterizes them, is their decor, which is usually done with buttercream or frosting (a mixture of butter and sugar, extremely sweet but extremely delicious), there are healthier (or less sweet) adaptations more suitable for a child's diet. How to prepare cupcakes with children
  1. Preheat the oven at 175 ° C (350 ° F).
  2. We let the children mix the butter together with the sugar until a whitish mixture is left and sticky You can let them do it with your hands, pressing hard between your fingers, if you want you can finish mixing with some rods or if you have a pastry mixer you can use the shovel (like the one I use in the photos).
  3. Add the eggs and we beat them for about 2-3 minutes, now we no longer use our hands, it would be too pringoso. We can let the children take the rods and they are the ones who beat.
  4. We mix the flour and baking soda in another bowl and we reserve.
  5. We crush the blueberries with a fork and you add together with the flour to the butter mixture.
  6. We take the seeds from the vanilla bean with the help of the tip of a knife and add them to the mixture. We continue beating until smooth.
  7. We divide into 12 cupcakes for cupcakes (we should never fill them more than 2/3 parts) and we bake for about 20-22 minutes (we check if they are made by inserting a stick or knife in a cupcake, if the knife or stick comes out clean and dry, they are ready. If they come out wet, we will check again after 1 minute.
  8. The Let it cold down on the base for 7 minutes and then we pass them to the rack so that they have just cooled.
  9. We will never decorate a cupcake until it is completely cooled, otherwise, the decoration (made of butter) would melt.
