Nuk's story is a story for children to understand that we all end up finding ourselves

We have read "History of Nuk" and we have been amazed at the simplicity and clarity with which the path of a small character is reflected until we discover who it really is? I think my children liked it because they are also reflected in the little one (or will it be small?) Nuk, after all the growth has a marked component of the search for one's own identity.

I was surprised because I thought I glimpsed the full force of condensed Nature in a few pages and because I discovered that what counts is persistence: even the saddest and most confusing situations have a solution if we know how to get courage from within. Nuk has been written by Paloma Sánchez Ibarzábal who has published numerous books and was a finalist for the Lazarillo Prize in 2009, is a contributor to Culturamas magazine with a column on children's literature. Natascha Rosenberg is the author of some marked illustrations that convey all kinds of feelings, thanks to her we understand Nuk's emotions. She has been in charge of the drawings for 10 years in several works published in Germany (her country of birth) and Spain.

Do you know who Nuk is?Well, actually, at the beginning, he himself cannot place himself in the world around him. Imagine being a leaf and a bee, even a drop of water, but disappointment takes hold of this character so tender that it fails to fit with anyone he knows. Luckily we can always trust someone to help us get up in the worst moments, the earth and darkness cover him, time will do the rest.

When the sun shines again and the cold is left behind ... the animals of the forest congratulate themselves on finding Nuk, who is delighted to rediscover himself.

It is a very suitable book to read to young children between four and nine years old, it is also a reading to understand the meaning of life and to have a good time with family, I recommend it.

Thanks to Narval Editores for giving us a copy of “Nuk's Story” so we can tell you.
