Lego fans are in luck, because the latest toy releases announced by the brand, the news of the opening of a new Legoland park, the ninth in the world and the third in the United States.
The park, built by Merlin Entertainments, will be located in northern New York, and although it is expected to open its doors in the spring of 2020, details that we want to share with you have already transpired.
The biggest investment in a Legoland park
Currently there eight Lego theme parks spread all over the world, and aimed primarily at families with children between two and 12 years.
The Legoland park in Denmark was the first to open its doors in 1986. Then they were in England, California, Germany, Florida, Dubai, Malaysia and Japan. In 2020 a new Legoland will be added to northern New York, whose investment will be the largest made to date.
The "New York Legoland" will have more than 200 hectares of land, and will also feature a Lego-themed hotel with 250 rooms to provide accommodation for visiting families. It is expected that the park remains open between the months of April to November, although the hotel will do it throughout the year.

- In the Factory area, children will discover what it means to be a Lego minifigure, while traveling through the manufacturing process, in a box, and in the hands of a child hoping to start building.
- Bricktopia is an area specially designed for children, with carousels and attractions that will blow your imagination.
- In Lego Ninja World, you will become a true Ninja warrior.
- Lego Friends, is another area of the park where children will live great adventures extolling the value of friendship.
- Knights' Kingdom, is the Lego kingdom dedicated to knights and princesses.
- Lego City, is a miniature city built with Lego bricks where the little ones will be the main protagonists.
- In the Pirate Shores area, children will become Lego pirates in search of a hidden treasure.
- And in the Miniland area, we can admire amazing cities and buildings reproduced with Lego pieces.
Legoland parks are a ode to imagination and fun, where we will find from varied attractions for the little ones, to faithful reproductions of buildings, animals or scenes of films made with Lego bricks, which will leave us speechless.
