Seven things to keep in mind after the first tooth falls if the Little Mouse Perez visits us

The Kings, Santa Claus and the Little Mouse Perez are those characters that appear in the lives of our children without having really appeared, you already understand me. We have just left behind the protagonists of Christmas, but today we want to tell you about another of the most famous characters for children, Ratoncito Pérez (the tooth fairy in Germanic countries) and seven things to keep in mind if after the fall of the first tooth the Little Mouse Perez visits us.

In many cultures there are really traditions and myths related to the fall of baby teeth, and it is a very special moment for parents, although not all are linked to the appearance of a magical character that wants to do with that dental piece As if it were a valuable treasure.

But, if this little rodent collector of teeth appears in our house, these are seven things that we should consider:

  • Plan a story ... and an alibi. And remember them. Your child probably already knows something about Ratoncito Pérez, because at school the word spreads easily when the first teeth begin to fall out. But you may want to give it your own version, and without cracks! The place where you will enter, where we will leave and pick up the tooth, what you will use them for ... Or do you prefer not to make so many detours and leave more space for magic and imagination? It is also possible. What we have to have more tied is our alibi in case, in the middle of the night, the boy or girl surprises us by digging under his pillow.

  • We must bear in mind that, after the first tooth, which usually falls around five years, many others come, and probably, if we wanted to continue with the story of the Little Mouse until the end, we would see each other until the age of twelve or thirteen the child carrying coins under the pillow. Surely as good teenagers then they already claim tickets ... or that nobody enters their rooms.

  • Keep in mind that history is not created at some point. As we have just said, they will spend many years with a transfer of milk teeth and definitive, so that, sooner or later, they will tell you that it is already fine about the magical character that collects his little teeth. Keep this in mind so as not to be sad at how quickly children grow ... and to have a good response ready if they throw you in the face that you made them go through a lie.

  • Pérez's first visit sets a trend. If the gifts of the Mouse are special, large, expensive, if Pérez has left a long letter with impeccable calligraphy, a collection certificate with a sealed seal, a basket of gourmet products (yes, seen on Flickr) ... he thinks that is what Your son or daughter will expect you to do on the following teeth, and by then we may not be so excited to make all those preparations, especially when you have already done them seven or eight times.

  • If there are siblings with approximate ages, keep in mind that there will be weeks in which the matter of the Little Mouse Perez and the fall of teeth will be recurrent ... So, the previous advice is much more important, since we do not want to ruin ourselves with the continuous gifts for the teeth that they are made. Also keep in mind the comparisons that the brothers make so much between them, so that they do not believe that anyone has been "favored."

  • We anticipate the first tooth well in advance, but some of the following may catch us by surprise. So, if we don't want to go out at midnight looking for a 24-hour store, we should have planned a "pantry" of Ratoncito Pérez just in case and especially if there are brothers with similar ages as we have commented in the previous point. The content? As it varies from one house to another, the coins are not difficult to find in the parents' purse or purse, but if what you put are chocolate coins or some other type of candy or gift, then you have to be prepared.

  • Remember where you keep your teeth (or decide if you want to do it or prefer to throw them away) so as not to lose them around the house and, in the future, when you or your child wants to see them (that endearing sentimentality ...), not being able to Know where you put them. If there are siblings, it is better to accumulate them separately and with the name marked (in a small bag, little box ...), although preferably in the same place.

Anyway, what We don't want to steal the magic of Ratoncito Pérez, nor our children. We ourselves are immersed in an escalation of two sisters with falls of teeth and applauding the breaths in the process. The photographs remained for the first teeth, when that little hole in their mouths was a milestone, even appreciated with nostalgia (how they grow!). Then the emotion diminishes (more for parents than for children, everything has to be said).

But I really would have liked to stop to think about all these seven things to keep in mind the first time a tooth fell and Ratoncito Pérez came, naive and excited, as if there were no more opportunities to visit us ... and thinking even if it is a little where we get and in the future.
